Jovano Abraham Alfredo Apituley

Jovano advises domestic and international clients across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. His experience includes structuring and negotiating transactions, conducting legal due diligence, preparing legal opinions and memoranda, and advising on complex commercial and contentious matters, including arbitration proceedings.

In his spare time, Jovano pursues his interest in legal research and writing, with his articles and scholarly works published in various mainstream media and academic journals. His publications explore a range of legal and socio-economic issues, including corporate transactions, consumer protection, criminal law, constitutional rights, and the social impact of natural resource development, among others. His published works include “Private Placement dalam Akuisisi NET TV oleh MD Entertainment: Solusi Finansial atau Tantangan Hukum?” in ManadoPost.id, as well as articles published in Jurnal Amanna Gappa, Jurnal Lex Privatum, Piramida.id, and Internalpost.com.

In addition, Jovano contributes as a speaker and guest tutor in legal forums and academic sessions. His speaking engagements have included the “Bridging Nusantara and the Middle Kingdom: New Frontiers in Indonesia–China Investment” forum and podcast discussions on competition law and sexual harassment. He has also delivered legal training and tutoring sessions for various student and legal organisations, including the Asian Law Students’ Association (ALSA), Gerakan Mahasiswa Kristen Indonesia (GMKI), Lembaga Advokasi, and Legal Writing Center.
